Jun 4, 2007, 1:18 GMT
Freetown, Sierra Leone - The crash of a helicopter late Sunday at Lungi International Airport in Freetown killed all 24 people on board, a local newspaper reported on its website.
The dead were all from Togo, returning home from a football match between the two African national teams, Awareness Times reported.
There were conflicting reports of whether players and staff of the Togo national team or only their supporters were on board the Paramount Airlines aircraft.
Togo beat the Leone Stars 1-0 Sunday afternoon in Freetown.
