At least 10 killed in bus crash in South Africa
Jun 8, 2009, 8:54 GMT
Johannesburg - At least 10 Zimbabweans were killed and 30 injured in a bus accident in northern South Africa on Monday.
The accident occurred close to the city of Polokwane near the border with Zimbabwe. Its cause was not yet known.
Increasing numbers of Zimbabweans have flocked to South Africa amid dire economic conditions and political turmoil at home in recent years.
Many also travel across the border regularly to stock up on basic goods that are unavailable or too expensive in Zimbabwe.
South African President Jacob Zuma has put the number of Zimbabweans living in South Africa at 3 to 4 million.
