Surfer killed by shark off South African coast

Johannesburg - A 25-year-old surfer died Saturday from injuries sustained in a shark attack, reported the Sunday Times.
The attack occurred near Mossel Bay, reported the newspaper. The man's entire lower leg was torn off by the animal. He survived the initial attack and was brought to shore by a friend, but soon died of his injuries.
