Police find car hidden in suspect's bedroom in South Africa
Sep 14, 2009, 10:36 GMT
Johannesburg - During an operation to arrest suspected criminals South African police found what looked like a stolen car in the bedroom of a shack, the Sowetan newspaper reported Monday.
The police raided several homes in Soshanguve township north of Pretoria, including that of a man accused of threatening to shoot his friend.
The man was not at home when police arrived and they also found no weapons.
'Instead, we found a blue Volkswagen Golf inside his bedroom. How the car was parked inside the bedroom is still a mystery as all the walls were intact,' a police spokesman told the paper.
The police impounded the car after demolishing part of the shack to free it.
