Nairobi/Khartoum - Four peacekeepers with the United Nations-African Union peacekeeping mission in Darfur (UNAMID) have died in a road accident, UNAMID said Monday.
The four peacekeepers from Sierra Leone were killed in collision late Sunday in Nyala, South Darfur, the mission said.
UNAMID is one of the largest peacekeeping forces in the world, and is deployed in Sudan's restive Darfur province to guarantee the safety of hundreds of thousands of people displaced by the region's long conflict.
