South African traffic accident kills 30

Durban, South Africa - A collision between an overloaded minibus and a truck in the South African province of Free State left 30 dead Saturday, according to officials.
Police said the dead included 10 children.
South African minibuses, officially with space for 16 passengers, operate as taxis. Officials said this one was carrying 35 people.
Police said the driver appeared to have lost control of the minibus while negotiating a curve. Seven people were also reported seriously injured after the crash.
