Suspect in Nigeria's Christmas Day bombing escapes

Abuja - The only suspect to have been detained in connection with the deadly Christmas Day attack on a church in Nigeria has escaped from police custody, authorities confirmed on Wednesday.
Kabir Sokoto was arrested on Saturday. He is suspected of belonging to the Islamist Boko Haram group, which claimed responsibility for the blast at the St Theresa Church in the capital Abuja in which more than 40 people were killed.
