Libyan protesters storm NTC headquarters in Benghazi
Jan 21, 2012, 19:16 GMT
Cairo- Some 200 protesters stormed the headquarters of the Libya's National Transition Council (NTC) late Saturday, demanding a meeting with the nation's interim leaders, Dubai-based Al Arabiya broadcaster reported.
Residents in Benghazi, where the uprising started last February against longtime Libya leader Moamer Gaddafi, have protested for nearly two weeks, demanding more transparency and justice from the country's new council.
The protesters also threw several home-made grenades at NTC's office without causing casualties, witnesses told al Arabiya.
