Obama to meet Mexican president before inauguration

Washington - US president-elect Barack Obama will meet Mexican President Felipe Calderon on Monday as part of a long- standing tradition between the two countries.
Obama will sit down with Calderon at the Mexican Cultural Institute in Washington, the Obama transition team said.
It is customary for the president-elect of the United States to meet his soon-to-be counterpart from Mexico prior to the January 20 inauguration, the statement said.
