British singer Susan Boyle to star at Haiti benefit gala
Jan 19, 2010, 16:40 GMT
Copenhagen - British singer Susan Boyle is to appear at a Danish televised fundraising gala in aid of the quake victims in Haiti, reports said Tuesday.
The January 30 event would be Boyle's first appearance in Denmark.
Boyle won international fame after a sensational act on the show, Britain's Got Talent.
She has topped the charts in several countries with her hit, I Dreamed a Dream.
The gala's initial theme was to raise funds in aid of women in Africa, but organizers decided to include Haiti due to last week's devastating earthquake.
A dozen of Denmark's main charities have teamed up with public broadcaster DR.
