Rio de Janeiro - Brazil will play an international friendly against Euro 2012 finalists Denmark in Hamburg on 26 May, the Brazilian football federation (CBF) said on Thursday.
The match in the northern German port city is an important test for the 1992 champions Denmark ahead of the Euro tournament in Poland and Ukraine which they open on June 9 against the Netherlands in tough Group B featuring Germany and Portugal as well.
The five-time world champions Brazil will play five international friendlies in the first half of the year, beginning on February 28 against Bosnia-Herzegovina in Switzerland.
The Selecao will also face the US in Boston or Washington on May 30 or 31 and take on Mexico in Dallas on June 3. They play against traditional rivals Argentina in New Jersey on June 9.
Coach Mano Menezes' side is not participating in the qualifiers for the 2014 World Cup as they qualify automatically as tournament hosts.
