Jan 15, 2012, 13:40 GMT
Guatemala City - Newly-elected Guatemalan President Otto Pérez Molina, 61, on Saturday vowed to fight organized crime as his primary order of business.
'The change has already begun,' he said in his first speech as president, when he was sworn in.
With 50 murders for every 100,000 residents, Guatemala is one of Latin America's most dangerous countries. The new president promised during his campaign to fight crime with an iron fist.
