Havanna - Cuba's three-time Olympic boxing champion, Teofilo Stevenson, was been released from a hospital Wednesday after treatment for a blood clot near his heart, which was discovered during a routine examination.
'I was in danger without knowing it,' the 59-year-old told dpa in Havana.
Stevenson won Olympic gold three times - in Munich in 1972, Montreal in 1976 and in Moscow in 1980 - and is vice president of the Cuban Boxing Federation.
