ANY building project in China, including this great development that will be a real boon to everyone living here, is tricky because it must displace people. There is an appeals process for residents, and sensible compensation set by governments. This system is not perfect, but its there. Im not doubting many people would be upset about the move, but articles like this do need balance. The Shanghai governments job, having to plan and move all these people, must be a nightmare. Their perspective must be heard if a piece is good journalism.
