Flooding spread in the northern part and several districts near Chao Phraya River of Bangkok which now has escalated into a crisis and the unfolding situation. Floods that started in northern Thailand in July have left destruction in their path as they have flowed south. At least 373 have died and more than 2.4 million people have been affected.
