Taiwanese gay men use typhoon name as password to join orgy
Aug 19, 2007, 7:11 GMT
Taipei - Taiwan police arrested 43 gay men for holding a drug-taking sex orgy which required participants to say ' Sepat' - the name of the typhoon which just lashed Taiwan - as the code to gain entry to the party, a newspaper said on Sunday.
Taipei police learned from a gay chat room that there were going to be three gay sex/drug parties from Friday through Sunday in an apartment in Panchiao, a satellite city of Taipei, the China Times reported.
Each participant had to pay 200 Taiwan dollars (10 US dollars) and had to lock up his clothes so that he would join the party in the dimly-lit apartment in shorts.
Two plainclothes policemen raided the party Sunday night, by saying 'Sepat' and then overpowering the guards who opened the door.
Police seized drugs including MDMA and the animal tranquilizer ketamine.
Taiwan has no law against late-night parties but police can arrest the participants if they take drugs or disturb the neighbors.

What is the point of this article? There are orgys every day in every city in every country, many of which may be gay, and many of which may include drugs. Why does this event newsworthy....especially the front page of Google news! Is it because the entry password was the name of a storm?!? If this is newsworthy...then the whole site could be about orgys...and the goofy passwords that it takes to enter!
