Nov 6, 2007, 8:18 GMT
Bangkok - A Kuala Lumpur-bound Thai Airways International (THAI) flight made an emergency landing at Hat Yai in southern Thailand Tuesday after the air conditioning in the passenger cabin malfunctioned.
The aircraft crew requested an emergency landing at Hat Yai International Airport, 700 kilometres south of Bangkok, at 10 am, approximately one hour after it took off from Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi Airport.
All of the 287 passengers aboard THAI Flight TG415 were reported safe. Another plane was used to take the passengers on to Kuala Lumpur, the Phujakarn online news service reported.
