Jan 15, 2008, 2:43 GMT
Wellington - A 52-year-old New Zealand man has been charged with driving a ride-on lawnmower through a city street while drunk, police said Tuesday.
The man, who was a disqualified driver, was arrested on the mower in Dargaville, in Northland, on Monday night.
Police alleged that his breath alcohol level was more than twice the legal limit.
He is to appear in court this week charged with careless driving, drunk driving and driving while disqualified. His lawnmower was impounded for 28 days.
