KFC delivery boy puts methamphetamines on the menu

Bangkok - Thai police have arrested a Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) employee for delivering more than just finger-licking-good chicken to peoples' homes, media reports said Monday. Nopporn Sathitpron, 24, was arrested Sunday shortly after buying 500 methamphetamine pills from a supplier in Samut Prakan, a province neighbouring Bangkok. Nopporn confessed to police that he had been using his KFC delivery motorcycle as a cover for trafficking in methamphetamines between chicken deliveries. 'Police don't check delivery motorcycles as much as they do other motorcycles,' Nopporn told the Khao Sot (Fresh News) Thai-language daily. His KFC cover was finally blown on Sunday when police, acting on a top-off, nabbed Nopporn shortly after he'd picked up a fresh supply of 'yaa baa,' or 'crazy drug,' as methamphetamines are known locally.
