what is so good about your own political system who murdered thousands of innocent iraqis for oil?
One good thing about the US political system (and that of many other countries)is that, usually without fear of emprisonment or worse, one can openly express revulsion at its horrendous crimes, past and present (wars, torture, abortion, death penalty, genocide of native Americans, slavery, inhuman immigration policies, etc., etc.).
express, sure, but unless you're rich enough to have your own lobby you might as well have been singing in the shower.
Chinese censorship: nobody can hear you because you're in jail.
American censorship: nobody can hear you because you can't afford the airtime and everyone's watching Big Brother.
I suppose it's progress, of a sort.
China just suffered a horendous earthquake; thousands have died sudenly and thousands will die as a result of this disaster. I don't really think they are thinking about how they are ruled. Ummmm your blessings are soon to end too. So better count them now!

We need to be in prayer for these unfortunate people. We may not believe in their political system, but they are people.
