Singer Newton-John marries Australian businessman

Sydney - Pop singer Olivia Newton-John has married fellow Australian John Easterling at a private ceremony at her home in Malibu, California, Melbourne's Herald Sun reported Friday.
Newton-John, 59, divorced Matt Lattanzi in 1993. Three years ago, her partner of nine years, 48-year-old Patrick McDermott, was presumed to have drowned during a fishing trip.
The singer, best known for her role in Grease, married 49-year-old Easterling in front of guests, including Grease co-star John Travolta, who had thought they were attending a Fourth of July barbecue.
Easterling owns Amazon Herb Company, an herbal supplement business that benefits the Amazon rainforest and its inhabitants.
