Bangkok - US President George W Bush on Thursday chided China for its human rights record and called on the communist country to help pressure Myanmar's military leaders before departing Bangkok Thursday for Beijing.

Bush, on a two-day visit in Thailand, lunched with Myanmar dissidents before departing for the Chinese capital, where he is to attend Friday's opening ceremony of the Olympic Games.

'He is going to talk with China about Burma even though he seems to be worried that China's interests are different from the US's interest on Burma,' said Win Min, one of nine Thailand-based Myanmar dissidents who lunched with Bush Thursday in Bangkok.

China is deemed the closest political ally of Myanmar, which was once called Burma, and one of the few world powers with any influence over the country's ruling junta.

The international community has long been calling on Myanmar's military regime to implement democratic reforms and free political prisoners, including opposition leader and Nobel Peace Prize winner Aung San Suu Kyi, who has been under house arrest for the past five years.

Bush and his wife, Laura, have championed the cause of Myanmar dissidents, helping to keep the country's struggle for democracy in the international limelight.

'We seek an end to tyranny in Burma,' President Bush said in a major policy speech he delivered Thursday in Bangkok. 'America reiterates our call on Burma's military junta to release Aung San Suu Kyi and all other political prisoners, and we will continue working until the people of Burma have the freedom they deserve.'

Bush, who said his administration's policy of engagement with China had helped defuse potential security threats over such issues as the North Korean nuclear programme and tensions between China and Taiwan, expressed optimism about China's capacity for political change in the wake of its recent economic takeoff.

'Young people who grow up with the freedom to trade goods will ultimately demand the freedom to trade ideas, especially on an unrestricted internet,' Bush said in his last major policy speech on US-Asian relations. 'Change in China will arrive on its own terms and in keeping with its own history and traditions. Yet change will arrive.'

Bush, whose presidency ends in January, claimed the United States' diplomatic engagement with Asia over the past seven years under his administration had helped bring in a period of economic prosperity and stability in Asia.

Its active, constructive engagement had also placed the United States in a good position to make criticisms where necessary, Bush said.

'America stands in firm opposition to China's detention of political dissidents, human rights advocates and religious activists,' Bush said in addressing an audience of about 500 at the Queen Sirikit Convention Centre.

The Bushes used their Thailand visit to highlight the political situation in Myanmar, which has been under military dictatorships since 1962.

Laura Bush visited a refugee camp on the Thai-Myanmar border for Karens, one of several ethnic groups fighting Myanmar's junta, and a clinic run by a Karen doctor, Cynthia Maung.

President Bush stopped in Thailand in part to mark the two countries' 175th year of diplomatic relations, making Thailand the oldest US ally in the region. Prior to Thailand, he visited South Korea on his week long, three-nation Asia trip.

'Bush off to Beijing with a Myanmar mission '

Two stones in one!

Crack their governments, work over their society and convert them from pagans to christians and send the pilgrimage of the pope mobile to bless them when they are 'free'!

Hallelujah! They will all receive the gift of life eternal and will be spared the agony of the wrath of jesus!:

'He who believes in the Son has eternal life; but he who does not obey the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.' John 3:36

With freedom and democracy comes salvation and leadership by the true leader of the free world ... the pope.

It is worth any cost in terms of deficit, mass killing, and weapons technology. Any amount of pegan death is worth the ends of giving those people the give of life eternal.

Hallelujah pagans! Our president has spoken and he is a man of action no matter how many of you have to die or no matter how high our national deficit gets! 10 trillion dollars, ha! Converting pagans is easily worth 20 trillion in debt.

Surprise, surprise - according to the latest news, Bush is pissing China off bigtime. Is he trying to throw his weight around, acting like the big expert on everything, before he leaves office? He will end up leaving the next Pres with more problems to try to work out than there is already!

A Letter to The United States Congress and to The American People

The American Republic returns on September 11, 2008,
A Letter to The United States Congress and to The American People

Americans have lost their way by choice and coercion by those that wish to have it all. Those Americans that have plenty are not bothered by the confusion and rape of the land and its people. The ones that outnumber the wealthy are the ones that suffer in America. The idea of a Republic of America was originally thought to be a perfect form of government, but the ones that made the choice to write on paper their ideas for a perfect form of government, were themselves imperfect, which did not make for a perfect document. The document called the Constitution is a promise to Americans to protect and to serve our Nation with truth. That has not happened, thus the discord within our nation to Americans.

Our Nation, our Homeland has been sold, raped, and ravaged by many outsiders and insider traitors, that have allowed our eagle our National symbol to be locked in a cage with little sustenance. Our Star has been buried in the sand with the trash of other nations.

This is not acceptable, and will be resolved. Our current Congress has forsaken our nation by giving little and taking so much for themselves and their financial supporters. Congress has allowed Capitalist Businesses from within and out to take over our Nation and rule by the power of selfish money and lies.

Our Great and once powerful Military is also ruled by those that give false and deceptive orders and not true commands. They, the soldiers of our fortunes are engaged in ambiguous battle campaigns under False Flag counter intelligence propaganda. Human lives on all sides are dying for the few that have lost their way thru choice.

Our President, our leader of our Nation has with his advisors and financial empire brokers, reinforced the ultimate crime to humanity by lying to himself, his family and his country. Our business leaders have lied to our Nation and prostituted our ingenuity to others for unnatural profit.

There are too many Americans that have some or little or none, and that Ladies and Gentlemen is not acceptable. Congress and others have failed to provide even the basics for our Nation to thrive. Too many selfish secrets, which many are known amongst a few is tearing our Nation and Planet apart. And allowing those that know what lies behind the looking glass, to control the masses at will.

There is too much advertised hatred and racial prejudice that is fed by ignorance and choice. Religions have taken front seat to freedom and truth, thus confusing those that wish to know the truth by self choice.

On September 11, 2008, in Los Angeles, California, United States of America, we Americans can and will make a choice to free our Eagle from its cage of captors, allowing it to be stronger and fly higher than ever before, and unearth and restore our Star to its rightful brilliance from the sand of trash of other Nations, and take back our country from those that have stolen it from us all. Annuit Copetis.

We have learned from the past, and we have learned from the present, so now we will make a choice to either continue with America as is, or Change it to a True Republic that truly represents the sincere interests of it people and other Nations. It is not an impossible task to overcome, all it takes is an honest choice and the will to sacrifice.

We are a Legion of many, who will live a life of peace, and have respect for all living things, while having considerations for those who are different, and look for ways to truly accommodate those who are slow in understanding.

We support the poor, helpless, and defenseless people. We support the freedom of Women, we support the sane treatment of animals and the environment, we support the freedom of religion and expression. We do not support ignorance, period.

We are a growing nation of people that encourage all Americans to become part of the New American Republic!

CHANGE FOR AMERICA FOR AMERICANS!

'Americans have lost their way by choice and coercion by...'

Your premise is not true. Americans like what they do. They like to bomb Iraq back to the stone age, kill millions of people, kill one million (unborn) babies per year every year, mass torture a billion chickens each year, etc., etc.

It is time for you to realize that you want to force Americans to do something against their will, and that is not freedom.

Open your eyes and begin to enjoy the reality of what is and the fact that people do what they want because they choose to and they know it. They have not lost their way. What you see is what you got.

Any American can go to:

www.themeatrix.com

or many other sources of information. The fact is: They choose not to on purpose because that is their way, not because they lost their way.

who have come to study in the west I would like to invite you to look at savetibet.org and 10questionsforthedalailama.org so that you can learn about what China does in Tibet and how many Tibetans have been tortured, killed, displaced, prevented from even keeping a picture of His Holiness.

THe reason you do not know about the human rights abuses is because the government will not allow you to have access to the pictures of the beatings, the fires, the destruction, the torture, the bloodshed.

But it is all archived and available for you to see anytime you choose to face the facts that your government is lying to you and that the Chinese military has been cold and ruthless and inhumane.

There is no violation of human rights that the Chinese government is not guilty of.

You should demand more, starting with democracy and human rights. Stop torturing and killing and imprisoning Tibetans.

Shame on China. And any student who chooses to remain ignorant about the actual history there.

'And any student who chooses to remain ignorant about the actual history there.'

Ignorance is not relegated to Chinese students. The same exists in the United State. In fact, many U.S. students if not most never become aware of the history of their nation and perpetually keep blinders on. For example: 'Trail Of Tears' or any such thing the U.S. has perpetuated in a manner similar to that of the Tibetan sorrow.

The fact is, China is no better nor worse than the U.S. Trying to convince people otherwise is not helpful.

'cold and ruthless and inhumane', no more than the U.S.

'There isn't another world leader with the balls to do this.'

Are you kidding? Hitler, Stalin and many other world leaders had a lot more balls than Bush every had. So what? Most leaders are born with two balls. It is not the balls that make the man, it is what you do with the balls.
