Sep 26, 2008, 3:54 GMT
Jakarta - A family of four was found dead in suspected murders-suicide in Indonesia's East Java capital of Surabaya, media reports said Friday.
Yanuar Stefanus, 37, was found dead Thursday with knife wounds along with his wife, Peniwati, 36, and two sons, Jonathan Jhonson, 5, and Kevin, 3.
Chief of the Surabaya police, Senior Commissioner Bambang Suparno, said he believed Yanuar murdered his family before committing suicide.
The suspicion was based on the fact that the room was locked from the inside and there was message written in blood on a wall inside, 'Ma, people cheat me.'
Yanuar was found with a knife in his belly with his neck and left wrist cut. Peniwati and her sons were found with a cut on the right side of their necks.
