Two women killed as minibus mounts crowded pavement in Hong Kong

Hong Kong - Two women died after a minibus mounted a crowded sidewalk and ploughed into a group of pedestrians in Hong Kong, police confirmed Saturday.
The accident happened shortly before midnight Friday in the busy Mong Kok area of the city after the minibus collided with a bus.
Nine women were injured and taken to hospital where two, aged 48 and 25, were pronounced dead.
Police said the 34-year-old driver of the minibus was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
