Road crash kills 8 and injures 23 on Myanmar highway

Yangon - Eight people died and 23 were injured in a head-on collision on the road between Yangon and Mandalay in northern Myanmar, state-run media reported Friday.
The accident between two trucks left seven of the 40 passengers dead at the scene with one more dying later, the New Light of Myanmar newspaper reported.
The accident happened on the evening of August 3. The drivers are being investigated, the newspaper reported.
