Lucky Australian teenagers find treasure trove
Sep 19, 2009, 8:46 GMT
Sydney - Two schoolboys stand to gain 100,000 Australian dollars (86,000 US dollars) if no one comes along to claim cash they found on a riverbank on Australia's east coast this month, police said Saturday.
The teenagers from Lismore in New South Wales handed in the money they found at Tuntable Creek after taking legal advice on whether they could keep it.
Police had not found any clues to the provenance of the wads of banknotes.
