Airport staff linked to drug smuggling, Australian police claim
Sep 21, 2009, 0:09 GMT
Sydney - Sydney Airport staff are among six Australians charged with smuggling cocaine into Australia, police said Monday.
The arrests climax an investigation that began in 2007 when 5.8 kilograms of cocaine was found on a flight arriving in Sydney from Los Angeles.
Another kilogram of cocaine was seized Sunday after raids on six homes in which six men, some airport employees, were arrested and charged.
