Australian who beat death row found guilty of murder again

Sydney - An Australian career criminal was Tuesday found guilty of murdering his girlfriend 40 years after being set free from death row for killing his teenage lover with a carving knife.
A Melbourne jury took just an hour to find Leigh Robinson, 61, guilty of murdering 33-year-old Tracey Greenbury by shooting her in the back of the head with a sawed-off shotgun after chasing her down the street.
He was to hang in 1968 but his death sentence was commuted to 20 years in jail.
Robinson, who has also served time for rape, indecent assault, burglary and theft, claimed his girlfriend's death was an accident.
After last year's execution-style killing, Robinson left a phone message with Greenbury's former husband saying: 'Yeah, come and get your kids. They've got no mother.'
