Strong quake rocks Indonesia's Java island (Roundup)

Jakarta - A magnitude-6.4 earthquake rocked the western part of Indonesia's Java island on Friday, but there were no immediate reports of damage or casualties, seismologists said.
The quake struck at 4:52 pm (0952 GMT) with its epicentre in the Sunda Strait located 187 kilometres south-west of the Indonesian capital, Jakarta, the Meteorology and Geophysics Agency said.
The quake forced workers in Jakarta to evacuate buildings.
A magnitude-6.1 earthquake jolted Indonesia's Sulawesi island before dawn Friday, but there were no casualties or damage.
A magnitude-7.6 earthquake struck Indonesia's West Sumatra province on September 30, leaving 1,117 people dead and more than 100,000 buildings severely damaged or destroyed.
