Hong Kong - A 71-year-old Hong Kong grandfather was seriously ill in hospital Tuesday after his wife was accused of repeatedly stabbing him in a jealous rage over an alleged affair.
The husband was stabbed Monday in the chest, back and arm with a kitchen knife as he lay in bed.
The husband suffered severe blood loss and was critically ill when admitted to hospital but has since stabilized and was Tuesday morning in serious condition, police said.
Police were called to the scene of the attack in Hong Kong's Tai Wai district by the couple's grandson, 13. The wife, 65, was arrested on suspicion on wounding with intent.
