New Zealand teen's flashing breasts a traffic hazard
Dec 16, 2009, 1:46 GMT
Wellington - An 18-year-old New Zealand woman created a traffic hazard when she stood in the middle of the road flashing her breasts at passing motorists, according to a court case reported by a newspaper Wednesday.
Cherelle May Dudfield, 18, was lucky to escape unhurt when a distracted driver ran into her, the Invercargill District Court heard on Tuesday when she admitted to a charge of disorderly behaviour in the city on September 27.
Police Sergeant Rob Mills said Dudfield had tried to run from the path of the oncoming car but rolled over the bonnet, cracking the windscreen, the Southland Times reported.
She told police that she had been 'egged on' by a friend to expose her breasts to drivers.
Imposing a fine of 275 New Zealand dollars (200 US dollars), Judge David Holderness said her behaviour was dangerous and she was lucky the consequences were not more severe.
