Dec 22, 2009, 6:48 GMT
Singapore - An Indonesian maid admitted in a Singapore magistrate court Tuesday to mixing her urine into her employers' drinking water.
Sri Aryati admitted committing the offence December 15, a week after she started working for the family at their apartment in a suburban housing estate, the Straits Times newspaper reported on its website.
Pleading for leniency, the 26-year-old said she was remorseful and would not offend again.
Sri Aryati is to be sentenced January 5 and faces a jail term of up to one year and a fine.
