Jun 28, 2010, 13:55 GMT
Taipei - An air bridge at Taiwan's largest airport collapsed Monday, shortly before 285 passengers arriving from Singapore were to use it to reach the terminal.
The enclosed passage at the No 2 Terminal of Taoyuan International Airport near Taipei crumpled to the ground at about 2:24 pm, but no one was injured, the Central News Agency said.
Aiport director Hsiao Teng-ke said a motor hoisting the air bridge support malfunctioned.
