Taipei - Paraguayan President Fernando Lugo arrived in Taiwan Friday on an official visit designed to cement ties.
During the week-long visit, President Lugo will hold talks with President Ma Ying-jeou, open a photo exhibition on Paraguay, and visit Taiwan's cultural and economic establishments, the Foreign Ministry said.
On Wednesday, Economics Minister Shih Yen-shiang and Paraguay Minister of Industries Francisco Rivas will hold the 16th Taiwan-Paraguay Economic Cooperation Conference in Taipei, the ministry said.
