Granny, 78, streaks in airline safety video
Mar 19, 2011, 22:10 GMT
Wellington - A 78-year-old granny streaks naked down the aisle of an aircraft packed with rugby fans in Air New Zealand's new video safety briefing, a newspaper reported on Sunday.
'After the streak I thought, what are all my Christian friends going to think?' Betty Messent, of Auckland, told the Herald on Sunday. 'But they were my biggest fans. Even my pastor thought it was great.'
She appears regularly in commercials after being spotted by talent scouts outside her local supermarket five years ago.
'I always play the role of the little old lady,' she said. 'But I don't mind, I live it up.
'It's a real day out when we go on these shoots. We get treated like stars.'
