Hong Kong - The 38-year-old wife of an Australian expatriate found dead in his Hong Kong apartment was being questioned by police over his suspected murder.
The woman, believed to be a Japanese national, was arrested Saturday for the killing of the 43-year-old man in a case police said was being treated as homicide.
The man's body was found by a rent collector at his apartment in Hong Kong's North Point district on Friday evening. He had multiple injuries to his jaw and body.
Neither the suspect nor the victim has been named.
Neighbours quoted by the Sunday Morning Post newspaper said the couple had a son and daughter and moved to Hong Kong two years ago where the husband ran a convenience store and a Thai restaurant.
