Malaysian police arrest 11, seize millions worth of drugs

Kuala Lumpur - Malaysian police arrested 11 men and seized 20 million ringgit (6.7 million dollars) worth of illegal drugs, a news report said Sunday.
Police in northern Penang state seized 240 kilograms of liquid ecstasy and 34 kilograms of methamphetamines in two raids on Friday, the Star newspaper said.
The suspects included two British nationals, two Singaporeans, one Dutch citizen and a Frenchman.
The suspects face charges of trafficking, which carries the mandatory death sentence by hanging.
