Ten killed in Chinese house collapse

Beijing - Ten people were killed and 12 injured when a house collapsed in central China, news reports said Tuesday.
The accident happened late Monday in a village in Xinshao county, Hunan province, officials were quoted as saying by Xinhua news agency.
The villagers were preparing a funeral when the building fell in, the local government said.
Eight bodies were recovered dead at the scene, and two victims died in hospital, authorities said.
