Indonesian authorities investigate farmers' "massacre" footage
Dec 17, 2011, 10:55 GMT
Jakarta - Indonesian authorities on Saturday launched an investigation after a video emerged purportedly showed graphic violence of murdered farmers in a land dispute case in the provinces of Lampung and South Sumatera.
The case came to the public's attention after dozens of farmers from the Mesuji district in Lampung province went to parliament this week to allege that some 30 farmers had been murdered between 2009 and 2011 as part of conflict with a plantation company.
