Dozens missing in another boat accident off Indonesia
Dec 21, 2011, 11:48 GMT
Jakarta - Dozens of people were missing Wednesday after a boat carrying about 100 passengers sank off the Molucca islands in north-eastern Indonesia, an official said.
Four people were found dead after the accident, said Sutopo Nugroho, a spokesman for the National Disaster Management Agency.
The boat was travelling from Saumlaki port in Maluku Tenggara Barat district to nearby Wermaksian, he said.
The accident came four days after a boat carrying 250 migrants sank off Indonesia's Java island.
About 50 people have been found dead while 49 were rescued from that accident.
