LEAD: 100 rescued, four dead after new boat accident off Indonesia
Dec 21, 2011, 12:23 GMT
Jakarta - Four people died while 100 others were rescued Wednesday when a boat sank off the Molucca islands, in north-eastern Indonesia, an official said.
No other passengers were reported missing, said Kievly Wakano, a spokesman for the disaster management agency in Maluku Tenggara Barat district.
The boat was travelling from Saumlaki to nearby Wermaksian.
The accident came just four days after a boat carrying 250 migrants sank off Indonesia's Java island.
About 50 bodies have been recovered so far while 49 others were rescued from that accident.
