UN General Assembly pays tribute to late North Korean leader

New York - The UN General Assembly held a minute of silence Thursday in tribute of North Korea's leader Kim Jong-il, who died last week.
Assembly President Nassir Abdulaziz al-Nasser of Qatar briefly presented condolences to Kim Jong Il's family. There were no speeches.
