Suicidal woman leaps from Hong Kong building, lands on policeman
Dec 30, 2011, 5:08 GMT
Hong Kong - A Hong Kong policeman was seriously ill in hospital Friday after a suicidal woman landed on him after leaping from a building, a news report said.
The woman, 81, survived the 10-metre fall from the first floor of the building Thursday but was also seriously injured, the Hong Kong Standard reported.
Jumping from high-rise buildings is the most common form of suicide in the city.
In December 2010, a 59-year-old man jumped to his death from a 19th-floor flat and landed on a 68-year-old man, killing him.
