Man charged after Australian woman set alight

Sydney - A 29-year-old Australian woman was tied to a bed, doused with petrol and set alight inside her Perth home, police said Friday.
Her 34-year-old housemate was charged with attempted murder, aggravated robbery and criminal damage by fire. He was also charged with stealing a car.
Cui Ling Tao suffered burns to up to 60 per cent of her body in the December 21 incident. She was in critical condition in hospital.
