Chinese New Year fireworks display kills three in central Thailand

Bangkok - At least three people died and 50 houses were set ablaze in central Thailand Tuesday during a Chinese New Year fireworks display, Thai TV reported.
Another 30 people were injured in the accident, which occurred shortly after 7:30 pm (1230 GMT) in Suphan Buri, about 150 kilometres north of Bangkok.
