Storm kills 14 in Indonesia
Jan 29, 2012, 9:22 GMT
Jakarta - Strong winds and heavy rain have killed at least 14 people and injured 60 others in Indonesia, an official said Sunday.
More than 2,300 homes were also damaged or destroyed by the rainstorms that have pounded Java and Bali islands for days, said Sutopo Nugroho, a spokesman for the National Disaster Management Agency.
Most of the dead were hit by falling trees, Nugroho said.
The storm was brought by Tropical Cyclone Iggy in the Indian Ocean.
