Thai truck thief caught napping
Feb 5, 2012, 2:22 GMT
Bangkok - Thai police arrested a woman caught napping in a new pickup truck that she had allegedly stolen, news reports said Sunday.
Sunisa Chindarat, 25, was charged with stealing a Mitsubishi truck from a showroom in Bangkok that had been left with the key in the ignition as a potential buyer prayed at a nearby joss house, the Bangkok Post reported.
Sunisa, who appeared to be intoxicated, told police she had taken the vehicle to drive herself home but had parked it to take a quick nap. The showroom had alerted police to the theft.
