Australian town waits behind a wall of water
Feb 5, 2012, 6:30 GMT
Sydney - All residents were ordered to leave St George on Sunday as floodwaters besieged the Queensland town.
The Bureau of Meteorology warned the Balonne River would peak in St George at 14-15 metres compared with the peak of 13.5 metres when floodwaters last breached defences in 2010.
'This is a very serious situation and I urge people to cooperate,' Queensland Premier Ann Bligh said.
