Hanoi - A husband and wife were buried alive during a landslide in northern Vietnam, state media reported Friday.
The couple were travelling on a motorbike in Hoa Binh province on Thursday when the landslide occurred, the Tuoi Tre newspaper reported, quoting Bui Van Tinh, chairman of the local People's Committee.
The landslide happened following days of rain and covered a 500-metre section of the road, causing serious traffic jams.
Both bodies were recovered.
