Arrowtown excited for Prince William visit
By Cindy Locke Jun 21, 2005, 21:37 GMT
Prince William is scheduled to arrive in New Zealand on Thursday to support the Lions’ Tour, but he will also make a number of official engagements. Along the way, he will visit the primary school in Arrowtown.
The prince will visit a few classes at the school during his 10 day visit to New Zealand and then attend a game of rugby between locals and touring English 11 and 12 year olds, who are also in New Zealand to support the Lions.
Principal John Lightfoot says the school is trying to keep the occasion as low key as possible.
